My dog loves BzzAgent, too!

A few weeks ago, BzzAgent invited me to participate in a BzzCampaign for Hill's Science Diet Small & Toy Breed dog food. I have a miniature daschund/chihuhua mix (a "chiweenie") named Maddie who is almost two years old. Before being invited to the campaign, I'd heard good things about Hill's Science Diet, but I always dismissed it as being "too expensive." (The 4.5 lb bags run in the $10-12 range.)

When I went to PetSmart, they were out of the regular adult variety. Since I was eager to try out this product and wasn't sure when I'd make it back to that part of town, I decided on the "light" version. I was curious to see if Maddie would actually like it. When it comes to human foods, my dogs will gladly scarf down anything she can get her mouth on, but where dog food is concerned, she''s really picky!

The last time we switched foods, our vet recommended mixing a small amount of new food with the old instead of just springing the new stuff on her. So that's what I did with this Hill's Science Diet food. While she was sniffing around her bowl and giving me a questioning "what-did-you-do-to-my-food" look, I headed to another part of the house to take care of a few things. I was feeling pretty sure I would return to find her food bowl completely untouched.

When I came back to the kithcen, I found this:

Maddie was picking out the pieces of Hill's food and spitting any old food she got onto our floor. It was pretty funny! I guess this picture speaks for itself. Clearly, she's a fan of Hill's Science Diet Small & Toy Breed Dog Food.

Here's what I like about this product from a "human" perspective:
- The bag (at least the 4.5 lb bag) is re-sealable. I'm a sucker for added convenience.
- My dog loves it, and it's actually good for her.
- Hill's is a trusted name in pet food and one that I often hear from my veterinarian.
- It doesn't have an overwhelming dog food smell.
- It's really healthy for my dog to eat.

If you're curious, I do plan on buying more of this food in the future. Even though it costs a little more than I've been buying Maddie, I think's worth it.

(I received a free item coupon from BzzAgent to try this product out. I didn't receive any compensation to share my opinion. To learn more about BzzAgent, check out this post.)

BzzAgent: Test new products for FREE!

In the past few weeks, I've received invitations to sign up with three different BzzCampaigns through BzzAgent. I'm really excited about getting the chance to test out the new products they're sending my way!

I've posted about BzzAgent before, but here's a quick recap:

BzzAgent (pronounced "Buzz agent") is a word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing company that puts products directly in the hands of consumers to test out. As someone who's studied advertising and marketing, I think this is a really, really cool concept. Plus, it means FREE stuff for you!

It's completely free to sign up, and you're under absolutely no obligation to buy anything. Once you sign up and fill out some short surveys, you'll be contacted to participate in campaigns. While most of the campaigns are free, some require a small fee. You can decline any campaign you don't want to participate in, and it won't affect your eligibility for future campaigns.

In the past year, I've received several really awesome products to test out: L'Oreal Double Extend Lash Boosting System, Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions products, Bic Soleil Bella razors, and a Glade Sense & Spray. Each campaign kit contains a free, full-size product, as well as coupons and even samples to share with friends.

I'm a huge, huge fan of BzzAgent.

Product Review: Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions

As many of you know, I'm a BzzAgent and occasionally get the opportunity to try out various new products for free. Most recently, I was able to test out a couple of products from Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions. I love being a BzzAgent! This line of products includes a purifying gel cleanser (price: $9.99), pore refining scrub ($9.99), daily moisturizing lotion ($17.99), and targeted spot treatment ($9.99). BzzAgent sent me the purifying gel cleanser and targeted spot treatment to try out.

One of my favorite things about Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions is that these products are natural and even certified by the Natural Products Association. They are dermatologist tested and designed to reduce the appearance of acne without drying out your skin. Plus, they aren't tested on animals.

The verdict:

For the past few months, my skin has been going a little haywire, so I was really excited to try out these products. I started using them the same day they arrived and began noticing results within the same week! These products work, exactly as promised, and they didn't dry out my skin in the process.

My only complaint is that the targeted spot treatment, which you're supposed to apply in the morning and evening, had a pretty strong scent. (It didn't stink or smell bad - it was just very noticeable.) Because of this, I chose to only use it at night before going to bed.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions purifying gel cleanser and targeted spot treatment. They were effective and delivered the results promised. I definitely recommend this line to anyone struggling with blemishes.

BzzAgent

A week or so ago, I talked about receiving a free Glade Sense & Spray in the mail from a company called BzzAgent. I think this is a great company and just wanted to take the time to tell you a little more about BzzAgent.

BzzAgent (pronounced "Buzz agent") is a word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing company that puts products directly in the hands of consumers to test out. As someone who's studied advertising and marketing, I think this is a really, really cool concept. Plus, it means FREE stuff for you!

While most of the campaigns are free, some require a small fee. However, you are free to decline any campaign you don't want to participate in. Earlier today, for example, I declined an invitation for a campaign that required a small fee.

You'll also have opportunities to participate in "frogponds." Frogponds give you the opportunity to visit and review different websites.
