CLOSED: Review & Giveaway: Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters

UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.

MyBlogSpark recently sent me a Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters "snack pack" prize pack that was packed with all kinds of goodies! I got to try out four varieties of Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters - roasted almond, roasted cashew, nut lovers and honey roasted peanut. (They also sent a really cute sling backpack, stainless steel water bottle, binoculars and flashlight - sweet!)

My favorite flavor was the roasted almond - I could not put them down! (Side note: The roasted cashew, honey roasted peanut and nut lovers were all pretty awesome too.) I love that these are made with 100% natural ingredients. In the past few months, I've been trying to eat healthier and take better care of myself, and snacks like Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters help me do just that. They taste great, they're filling, and they're healthy to boot.

Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters would be a great snack for almost anytime. I really like that they come in a re-sealable package, so you can easily toss them in your bag or stash them in your car in case you need a snack on the run.

Want to hear the best part? MyBlogSpark was kind enough to give me an additional prize pack to share with one of my awesome readers!!! One winner will receive 4 varieties of Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters, a sling backpack, stainless steel water bottle, flashlight and binoculars.

Book Review: What Difference Do It Make?

What Difference Do It Make? by Ron Hall, Denver Moore, and Lynn Vincent

What Difference Do It Make? is the follow-up to the New York Times Bestseller Same Kind of Different As Me, both written by Ron Hall, Denver Moore, and Lynn Vincent. What Difference Do It Make? contains true stories of hope and healing that were inspired by its predecessor. And what a difference it does make!

Since I've never read Same Kind of Different as Me, I was concerned about being lost or not understanding parts of this book. This wasn't the case, however. The writers do a nice job of filling in their new readers with enough of the backstory to fully grasp what's going on. What Difference Do It Make? really drove home the importance of accepting and loving all of our brothers and sisters. It was also a wonderful testimony to the huge impact that one person can make on the lives of others.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading What Difference Do It Make? and had a hard time putting it down. It's beautifully written, and I found it to be both engaging and inspiring. This book is well worth your time!

(Thank you to Thomas Nelson for providing this book for me to read and review. I'm a member of Thomas Nelson's Book Review Blogger program.)

Kmart Super Doubles Update: Only P&G Coupons???

Just wanted to give you a heads up:

The Kmart Super Doubles promotion is scheduled for 9/27-10/3 (Sunday-Saturday) at select stores. You can check out your local ad here or email help@customerservice.kmart.com to find out if your store is participating. It is possible that some stores might run this promotion 9/30-10/6 (Wednesday-Tuesday) instead of the dates listed above. (This has been the case at my local store during past promotions.)

Although we originally thought that all coupons would be doubled, some people have received word that only Proctor & Gamble coupons will be doubled. There's currently a lot of confusion going around the blogosphere as to what will actually happen/which coupons will be doubled.

I've emailed Kmart customer service to find out which locations are participating and to see if they're only doubling P& coupons. I'll keep you posted with any information that I'm able to find out.

Good Cause: World's Largest ICe Cream Social

Product Review: Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions

As many of you know, I'm a BzzAgent and occasionally get the opportunity to try out various new products for free. Most recently, I was able to test out a couple of products from Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions. I love being a BzzAgent! This line of products includes a purifying gel cleanser (price: $9.99), pore refining scrub ($9.99), daily moisturizing lotion ($17.99), and targeted spot treatment ($9.99). BzzAgent sent me the purifying gel cleanser and targeted spot treatment to try out.

One of my favorite things about Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions is that these products are natural and even certified by the Natural Products Association. They are dermatologist tested and designed to reduce the appearance of acne without drying out your skin. Plus, they aren't tested on animals.

The verdict:

For the past few months, my skin has been going a little haywire, so I was really excited to try out these products. I started using them the same day they arrived and began noticing results within the same week! These products work, exactly as promised, and they didn't dry out my skin in the process.

My only complaint is that the targeted spot treatment, which you're supposed to apply in the morning and evening, had a pretty strong scent. (It didn't stink or smell bad - it was just very noticeable.) Because of this, I chose to only use it at night before going to bed.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions purifying gel cleanser and targeted spot treatment. They were effective and delivered the results promised. I definitely recommend this line to anyone struggling with blemishes.

If you want to learn more about Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions, go here.

(Thanks to BzzAgent for sending me these products to try out! To learn more about BzzAgent, check out this post.)
