When the cashier went to scan my last EB (the $10), she told me it was more than $2 over what I needed. I was confused, but I'm terrible at doing math on the fly, so I just grabbed two packs of gum. After I got home, I figured out that she had scanned one of the $3 coupons twice, and I called the store. They thanked me but told me not to worry about it. Yay for surprise discounts!
